Sat. Dec. 9th, 2017.  Venice Canals’ Home & Bridge Decorating Contest.  Judging will start at 6:00 p.m.  Everyone is welcome to be judges.

Sun. Dec. 10th.  The 36th Annual Venice Canals Holiday Boat Parade.  Parade will begin at 4:00 pm at the corner of Eastern & Sherman Canals.  The Venice Canals welcomes everyone to be part of the parade.

Our theme this year is Peace on Earth

Boats will line up at 3:30 PM. Parade will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, rain or shine.

We welcome everyone to be part of the parade; however, this year ALL BOATS MUST BE REGISTERED to be eligible to win a prize!

You can register Saturday, December 9th between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at Maggie’s home at 2429 Eastern Canal.

For further information; or if you have a boat that you will not be entering and are willing to lend it to a neighbor; or you need a boat to enter; or you want some advice or help on how to decorate a boat, contact Sandy Berens at (310) 463-3323.

And don’t forget to light up your home and canal bridge. Judging for the Home & Bridge Decorating Competitions will be Saturday, December 9th beginning at 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to join the judges. Make sure your lights are on.

Winners will be announced at the beginning of the parade on the 10th.
