Join Viva Balance , Selectively SpiritualGood Saint, and Shanti Kitchen at Mystic Journey Yoga and dedicate a beautiful Saturday afternoon just for YOU! Indulge in some guided meditation, healing, and meaningful connections with your community.

Together we will experience what it is like to be present minded to be able to enjoy this moment that we have now.  We will start with some guided meditation that will help relax your nervous system.  Afterwards we will learn simple ways to activate your neurogenic tremor that will help you release deep rooted tension(or stuck energy) that was caused by physical or emotional stress or trauma. You will also have access to some resilience tools to help you cope with stress that you will learn from Desiree that you can implement into your everday life. The class will end with tips from Amber St Peter on anti-inflammatory foods that will help your body ease stress and anxiety. You will also get some savory appetizers created by Shanti Kitchen to enjoy at the end of class.


About TRE(Tension Release Exercises)

TRE uses seven exercises to release the psoas muscle, the deepest and largest muscle in the body. This powerful muscle holds physical, emotional, and mental stress that we carry in our bodies over the course of our lives. We have all experienced trauma, and there are many forms that we may have come in contact with it.

A typical session starts by stretching and fatiguing muscles in the feet, and legs that are connected to the fight/flight/freeze response.  These exercises help initiate your body’s own self-healing tremor.  Once the therapeutic tremor begins, you will lie comfortably on a mat and allow your body to release tension, stress and trauma.  You can view a video of it here: https://traumaprevention.com/

When our nervous system is regulated we are in our social engagement and it’s easier for us to build connections, feel at peace, be more creative, be present minded, increase our resiliency, be more focused.
