Butterfly,” “Chinglish”) beloved play will premiere on Sunday, October 25, 2015 – 11:00 am @ Mann’s Chinese Theaters The TCL Chinese Theater (6925 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood), with party to follow in historic Venice Beach. Starring acclaimed and two-time Emmy nominee Paige Davis (TV”s hugely popular “Trading Spaces,” “Being Michael Madsen”) and Ryun Yu (“TV’s “Beyond the Break,” “The Last Tour”) “Bondage” is a provocative and epigrammatic tale of psychological and sexual warfare at it’s most decadent. In a Los Angeles sadomasochistic parlor, the dominatrix, Terri, and her client, Mark, are clad head to toe in leather costumes, which conceal their faces and ethnicities. These elaborate disguises allow them to play out fantasies based on racial stereotypes and sexual mythologies: she becomes an African-American woman to his white liberal man; he transforms into an Asian-American and she to a blond WASP, etc. Exchanging biting social observations laced with stinging humor, they progress through their power games, exposing the arbitrariness of racial mythology. All the while, however, they are haunted by a growing awareness that beneath their own masks, despite their own efforts, they may be moving to the most terrifying reality of all – true intimacy transcending the boundaries of race. A one-of-a-kind that’s equal parts biting and sensual, funny and dramatic, “Bondage” is a unique and powerful experience. Seats are limited. Tickets are going faster than a dominatrix’s whip. Hollywood Screening of “Bondage” and All-Afternoon Party in Venice is $25.00. To purchase tickets, email Bondagemovie@gmail.com www.bondagefeature.com For more info: http://www.bondagefeature.com
