The Venice Sign will be the ” O’Venice Sign” starting Monday, March 13, 2017! Thing to do for St. Patrick’s Day is to grab a selfie with the O’Venice Sign, and #VeniceSign #VeniceBeach, and #VeniceBeachFun. Then get your party on with some green drinks at James’ Beach, Barlo Kitchen and Cocktails, High Rooftop Lounge, Sidewalk Cafe, Canal Club, The Dudley Market, Hama Sushi, Sunny Spot, Cabo Cantina, Simmzy’s, or Tony P’s Dockside Grill.

LOCATION: 80 Windward Ave. Venice, CA 90291. Metered parking on Windward Ave. Parking lots on Windward Ave and Speedway.

A little Venice Sign History! Spanning across Windward Avenue at Pacific, the VENICE Sign in lights is a modern day replica of the one originally installed in 1905 by the legendary Abbot Kinney.

It is a defining symbol of Venice, past and present.

In 2007, the Venice Sign Restoration Project recreated and installed the contemporary version of this historic sign. Since that time the Venice Chamber has been responsible for the sign and for protecting its trademark.

Visitors are invited to photograph the sign for their personal use and enjoyment.
