Our mission promotes equality and inclusivity in our community by fostering bonds between education and business. Your generosity and creative presence greatly impact this work. On Thursday May 11th we are celebrating our biggest event of the year, the 7th Annual WAVE Awards. Here more than 100 people will come together to honor an exceptional teacher from each of our 17 participating local schools and art institutions at a gala dinner ceremony. Honorees are selected by their peers and hosted at the event. After an introduction by their principal, each teacher is given an opportunity to speak, infrequently leaving a dry eye in the house. This is an incredibly heartfelt evening, giving shape to the community that continues to grow with our children; where teachers are recognized for their spectacular contributions, both in and out of the classroom, inspiring generations of passionate, kind leaders and visionary thinkers. Join us on May 11th at our awards dinner. No gesture in support of the WAVE Awards is too small to be warmly appreciated. All are welcome to unite for this captivating and moving community event cheering on the teachers who remind us we love to learn!
