We are pleased to officially announce this one of a kind Fête reminiscent dancefloor experience at the Townhouse & The Del Monte in Venice featuring carefully cultivated live Afrobeat crew NOVALA, as well as one of LA’s top Afro-House selectors, DJ Dominic Painter. Forces unite to lay the sonic foundation for this multicultural event, a place where we can freely dance, drink and connect community to our own heartfelt rhythms.

April 29th is International Dance Dance day! With culture and community at the core of this night, literally all over the world, let us come together to celebrate and ~shake what our mamma’s gave us~ as we journey thru early dance parties of Africa, South America and the Chicago rave scene.

Live Afrobeat crew NOVALA will be taking over from 10 to 11PM with a mix of classic covers as well as brand new original tracks.

DJ Dominic Painter of FADE L.A. and World70party will be mixing Afrobeat, Afro-House and 70’s funk.

Special thanks to Cary Sullivan and Afro Funke’ for their inspiration and support.

Shout outs to EnClave.LA and Fusicology for keeping the scene alive and well.

Thank you to Townhouse & The Del Monte for humbly hosting this unique event. The downstairs has the perfect vibe for this party with a low ceiling and plenty of room on the dance floor to move. The bar is huge and well equipped with kind tenders serving up Prohibition-era drinks all night, so there’s no waiting forever to get an overpriced drink.

The upstairs Townhouse bar will be open in case you kiddos arrive early, but the downstairs doors don’t open till 8pm.

Creator of the FADE L.A. promotion brand, D. and company hold monthly events that are quickly becoming staples of the Downtown and Hollywood scenes providing unique international themed nights including FADE L.A.: SUCIA BONITA Latin Bass Night, World70party and Moombah Sessions headlined by major DJ/Producers including Dave Nada, Latin Grammy nominated El Dusty, SiriusXM’s SpydaT.E.K, Hollywood veteran DjTendajiLathan and Prince’s former personal @DJ Rashida.
