For the 5th year running, Windward Avenue east of Pacific Avenue will be closed for the event to include live music, a poster contest and activities for the whole family. Venice Paparazzi will be the official photographers, and will be hosting a holiday photo booth! . We will also be collecting toys for the 10th Annual Muscle Beach Toy Drive (in conjunction with the LAPD Pacific Division & Pacific Area Boosters) and the Great Venice Toy Drive. Spanning across Windward Avenue at Pacific, the sign is a modern day replica of the one originally installed in 1905 by the legendary Abbot Kinney. It is a defining symbol of Venice, past and present.In 2007, the Venice Sign Restoration Project recreated and installed the contemporary version of this historic sign.
