The Venice Basketball league is hosting it’s 9th annual Santa Slam where will be kicking off with a Free Kids Clinic with special guest BdotAdot5and VBL 4xMVP Tristan Wilson. We will kick off the afternoon with Round robin style tournament featuring the LAPD Headquarters, VBL All Stars and some special celebrity guests. MC Officer Thompson debut and yours truly DJ Nick Ansom and Kehinde Big-Doxx Cunningham on the 1’s and 2’s Bring a toy or two as this is the main purpose will be gathering. Also VBL family Jeremiah J Brown will be having a special release of his book “Financial Freedom For those who cannot make it this week, there will be a charity game at the Oakwood Rec Center Saturday the 9th. Come hangout and let’s bring the holiday cheers in style! The Venice Basketball League (“VBL”) was born as a community tournament on the legendary courts of Venice Beach. The league has evolved into a global force for basketball culture striving to “unite, showcase and inspire”. VBL was just victorious in the Jump10 world tournament best out of 20 nations. KVBL SHOES TO FILL – TOY DRIVE 2017. On December 9th, we’re hosting a junior high tournament, toy drive and a celebrity game! We’ll be having middle schoolers compete against other schools in the area, bringing all the fun to the streets of Venice Beach. Come join us and bring a toy as we’ll be hosting a toy drive in the season of giving back! There will be a charity game at the Oakwood Rec Center for those interested!
