On Saturday, October 13th, 2018, the 14th Annual Los Angeles Burning Man Decompression Art & Music Festival returns to the newly renovated L.A. State Historic Park downtown. The event runs from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and will be a one of a kind spectacle, not to be missed. The entire family is invited! Decom is the oldest and largest official event associated with Burning Man in Los Angeles.
This annual festival gathers “Burners” (adventurers who have attended the famedBurning Man event), each year to “decompress” and celebrate the creativity shared in the desert with their LA friends. For many who have not attended Burning Man in Nevada, Decom (as it is known) has become an exciting opportunity to be a part of this legendary experience.
Co-Producer and President of the Los Angeles League of Arts that sponsors the event, Esquire Jachem, expects more than 5000 people to attend this year.

“We are so excited to be in this spectacular State Park after it’s complete reconstruction.” Esquire explains, “The state spent 13 million dollars making the space more fabulous than ever! We are thrilled to be back.”

The event will be bigger and even more fantastic this year: a sparkling, sparking hunk of the famed desert festival dropped right in the middle of downtown Los Angeles, featuring art, music, theme camps, and fire performances. All of Los Angeles is invited.
“The event will feature the best of the Burning Man spirit of creativity, artistic freedom, radical self-expression, fiery excitement and more,” continued Esquire.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 13, 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm, at the Los Angeles State Historic Park,1245 N. Spring St. 90012 Los Angeles, CA, US.

Tickets are  $25 in advance and $30 cash at the door.  A number of ATMs will be set up at the gate. No re-entry after 6 pm. Children under 12 are free. Enjoy a cash bar, food trucks, performances on five stages.

Attendees are encouraged to take the Metro since the park is located next to the Gold Line Chinatown Metro Station. There will be paid parking on the site for about 1000 cars for $10. Ride-sharing and mobile car services are encouraged.
